Bill Dragolas has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years, having served in a variety of financial positions. Bill has served as a financial advisor, financial manager, franchise owner, hedge fund and private equity fund owner-operator, and private bank vice-president.
Bill has the unique distinction in the finance industry of having a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University , with a minor in Business and Finance. This unique educational background allows Bill to very effectively bridge the gap between financing, and the complex technical aspects of a project that is being financed.
Bill has extensive experience raising capital, securing debt, and creating multi-million dollar finance packages for client projects. As a trader, Bill created a proprietary trading strategy and launched his own Hedge Fund. Bill has been a Client Advisor on deals in private banking, commercial real estate, aviation, and a variety of other specialty areas. Bill has collaborated with other Private Equity firms to source deals, negotiate terms, raise funds, and secure loans and
financing for projects.
Bill has served as a Financial Advisor for Citizens Securities, Inc. a mid-sized Regional Bank/Broker Dealer based in Boston, MA. In his capacity as a Licensed Financial Consultant, Bill worked with several branches in the areas of financial planning and investment.
Bill served as President of Robert Morris Private Equity, a private equity management firm . Bill worked with multi-million dollar clients on private equity transactions, sourcing debt and equity, and raising additional capital for large transactions. Bill was also responsible for performing due diligence and analysis of viable investments, including review of related legal documents. Bill also created financial packages for large-scale projects ranging from $10 million to $100 million.
Bill has also created a number of complex financial packages for sports transactions, including a $10 million race track, $15 million minor league baseball stadium, $50 million NASCAR merger, and $400 million NBA franchise purchase. Additionally, Bill worked with NASCAR teams to raise sponsorship dollars.
Bill has worked with new technology companies to raise funds for company product
launches, and with aviation groups to secure financing and refinancing.
Bill currently holds Series 7, Series 66, and Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Bill’s outside interests include having his private pilot’s license (flying), golfing,
bicycling, ice hockey, and volunteering.
