Kathryn Lyle, CPA, CVA

Kathryn (“Kathy”) Lyle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Miami University (Ohio). Kathy is a practicing Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.). In addition, Kathy has also achieved her certification as a Certified Valuation Analyst (C.V.A.). Kathy is also a certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Kathy’s memberships include the Ohio Society of CPAs, the National Association of Valuators and Analysts, and CPAConnect .

Kathy has many years of experience in all areas of accounting and business valuation, including financial consulting , accounting system design, financial statement compilation and review, compliance, employee compensation and benefits plan design, income tax planning and preparation, estate planning and use of trusts, and business valuation for multiple-owner businesses and asset management.

Kathy previously held the position of Tax Manager for the Cleveland Office of Coopers & Lybrand, before founding her own firm. Prior to that she worked for a financial consulting firm, performing accounting and business valuation services for a range of closely-held business clients.

Kathy has served clients in a variety of industries , such as manufacturing, construction, real estate, wholesale distribution, contracting, publishing, advertising, printing, web design, video production, photography, retail stores, restaurants, dental practices and law firms.

Kathy also serves her community with a number of volunteer activities, including Breakthrough Charter Schools where she acts as a mentor to 8th graders preparing to transition to a public or private high school. She has also served as President and Treasurer of Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls. Additionally Kathy served two terms as National Treasurer of the BMW Car Club of America.

Christopher (“Chris”) Berger received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin , his global Masters Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Houston-Victoria (with a 3.889 G.P.A.) and his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Chris’s primary interest is in the area of business. In addition to his consulting, Chris is a professor at Lakeland Community College and Lake Erie College, teaching courses (including M.B.A. courses) in Business, International Business, Principles of Management, Business Ethics, and Organizational Behavior.

Chris has extensive business experience. Chris held the positions with Dreison International, Inc . – an international manufacturing corporation – of Corporate Controller, President of SuperTrapp Industries (a subsidiary), Corporate Manager, and was a Corporate Officer .

Chris also has extensive experience as a lawyer, including negotiating distribution agreements in thirty-seven countries, and franchise agreements in eight countries.

Chris maintains his membership interests in the Global Business Law Review, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law; Sigma Alpha Pi – The National Society of Leadership and Success; Civil War Roundtable – Cleveland Chapter; and the American Battlefield Trust – for the preservation of historic landmarks and battlefields.

Chris serves his community through his church; President, Hearts and Hands for CASA of Geauga County; CASA/GAL Volunteer – Geauga County Juvenile Court; President, Whitetail Run Community Association; and Statistician, Kenston High School Athletics .

Bill Dragolas

Bill Dragolas

Bill Dragolas has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years, having served in a variety of financial positions. Bill has served as a financial advisor, financial manager, franchise owner, hedge fund and private equity fund owner-operator, and private bank vice-president.

Bill has the unique distinction in the finance industry of having a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University , with a minor in Business and Finance. This unique educational background allows Bill to very effectively bridge the gap between financing, and the complex technical aspects of a project that is being financed.

Bill has extensive experience raising capital, securing debt, and creating multi-million dollar finance packages for client projects. As a trader, Bill created a proprietary trading strategy and launched his own Hedge Fund. Bill has been a Client Advisor on deals in private banking, commercial real estate, aviation, and a variety of other specialty areas. Bill has collaborated with other Private Equity firms to source deals, negotiate terms, raise funds, and secure loans and
financing for projects.

Bill has served as a Financial Advisor for Citizens Securities, Inc. a mid-sized Regional Bank/Broker Dealer based in Boston, MA. In his capacity as a Licensed Financial Consultant, Bill worked with several branches in the areas of financial planning and investment.

Bill served as President of Robert Morris Private Equity, a private equity management firm . Bill worked with multi-million dollar clients on private equity transactions, sourcing debt and equity, and raising additional capital for large transactions. Bill was also responsible for performing due diligence and analysis of viable investments, including review of related legal documents. Bill also created financial packages for large-scale projects ranging from $10 million to $100 million.

Bill has also created a number of complex financial packages for sports transactions, including a $10 million race track, $15 million minor league baseball stadium, $50 million NASCAR merger, and $400 million NBA franchise purchase. Additionally, Bill worked with NASCAR teams to raise sponsorship dollars.

Bill has worked with new technology companies to raise funds for company product
launches, and with aviation groups to secure financing and refinancing.

Bill currently holds Series 7, Series 66, and Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Bill’s outside interests include having his private pilot’s license (flying), golfing,
bicycling, ice hockey, and volunteering.

William Kennedy

William Kennedy

William (“Bill”) Kennedy worked for a large accounting firm out of college as an accountant and auditor. After several years, Bill and a partner formed their own auditing firm, which they operated successfully for five years before selling the firm.

Bill then founded his capital management firm, with its offices in New York City. His firm operated very successfully for more than 20 years, involving mergers and acquisitions, sell-side engagements, business restructurings , bonds, private equity investing, capital formation, liquidity management, and financial management services. Bill sold the firm in 2004.

Bill then founded an Ohio firm focusing on financial management services and middle market business investing. Bill acquired an ownership interest in a group of companies that operated internationally. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the corporate group for 12 years before selling his ownership interest. During his tenure as CEO and CFO the corporate group achieved tremendous growth and significantly increased its profitability.

In addition to his degree in Accounting, Bill has four additional certifications from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (A.I.C.P.A.) in the areas of financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), performing audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), financial forecasting, and financial management.

Bill’s outside interests are he and his wife spending time with their grandchildren and attending their sports events . Bill and his wife also enjoy hiking and traveling. Bill is also active in his community and with his church.

Stafford Worley

Stafford Worley

Stafford (“Staff “) Worley is highly experienced in the areas of executive-level business management, national and international strategic business planning, business acquisitions and mergers, national and international supply sourcing, and efficiency/cost-effectiveness modeling and management.

Staff was the founder of an agricultural electronics company that serviced such customers as John Deere and Case New Holland. During his tenure as owner and Chief Executive Officer, Staff grew the company into an international business headquartered in the U.S. and Europe. The company served all of North and South America, Europe, Russia, and Australia.

Staff sold his business interests , and now focuses on business consulting. His particular areas of expertise are project management , cost-effective budget management, creative financing, and coordination of complex project components to comprehensively manage projects.

Staff majored in Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, with a minor in Business Administration, from Miami University of Ohio.

Staff’s outside interests are he and his wife spending time with their five children and seven grandchildren, and his passion for tennis. Staff has played in numerous regional and national tennis tournaments, and represented Ohio in the National Senior Games .

Staff is also active in his community, volunteering with Gilmour Academy and with his church.
